Hi-Line recognized for Outstanding Vehicle Graphics By Light & Medium Truck Magazine
Dallas-Based Company’s Design Can Be Seen on Close to 100 Trucks Around the Country
Dallas, Texas – August 22, 2005 — Hi-Line, Inc., a leading provider and distributor of quality electrical and mechanical maintenance products, was recognized as a co-winner of Light & Medium Truck magazine’s 2005 Vehicle Graphics Award for its attention-grabbing truck graphics impacting sales and brand recognition. Light & Medium Truck is a business publication for light and medium truck operators who use “work” trucks in their business everyday whether they buy, lease, manage and/or maintain a wide range of commercial vehicles.
Each of the 90 trucks in Hi-Line’s fleet feature the striking tool-box graphics to illustrate its wide-ranging and complete line of tools. The graphic design on the side of the Ford E-350 cutaway chassis parcel delivery vehicle is colorful and features Hi-Line’s logo, 1-800 phone number and a tool box full of supplies that Hi-Line brings to customers like motor cleaner, nuts, bolts, wires and more. The design covers the entire side of the vehicle.
“We wanted a simple vehicle graphics design to show our depth and breadth of products,” Misti Poulos, marketing director for Hi-Line, said, “Because our customers have come to expect Hi-Line to have everything in our mobile stores from a cutting tool to a fastener, the graphics will help to increase company recognition and sales while giving people an immediate understanding of our products.”
Today, Hi-Line’s territory managers drive the custom trucks fully stocked with more than 1,200 products (from a selection of more than 30,000) to serve the needs of thousands in the transportation, aerospace, aviation, plant maintenance and heavy equipment industries nationwide. Unlike a standard hardware store, Hi-Line is accessible 24/7 and comes to customers wherever they are.
Hi-Line products are used by the mechanics and technicians of Monster Garage.
