Essentially fuses are a one-time, disposable solution, and Circuit Breakers can be re-used after overload.
SAE CIRCUIT BREAKER CLASSIFICATIONS
SAE Type I: Automatic: Continuously resets until the overload is corrected. Mini and ATC types have standard gold cover.
SAE Type II: Remains open as long as the overload exists.
Resets after the power is turned off and the overload is corrected. Mini and ATC types have standard silver cover.
SAE Type III: Manual: Remains open until manually reset using the button
